Words from the President
A warm welcome to HKSA UoN website. Being a founder of HKSA UoN and the Presidents of 2014, my goal is to create a platform for Hong Kong students and students all over the world to socialise and expand their network. So we welcome all students, regardless of nationalities, to join the HKSA UoN. Promoting and sharing Hong Kong culture to UoN students is another goal in my mind when I set up HKSA UoN . Hongkongers like to "happy share" with their peers, especially good stuffs like Hong Kong culture. What we actually did? Showcasing Hong Kong food at the International food fairs at the Harmony Week and Cultural Awakening Week on Callaghan campus in 2013 and 2014, Hong Kong Afternoon Tea Welcome Party at the start of Semester 1 2014 and more.
In 2014, I would like to step up and organise different types of events which benefit students in terms of career development and leadership training, together with the social events. HKSA UoN is proud to co-organise a lunch forum on anti-discrimination and multiculturalism, and job interview workshop with the Asian Australian Alliance(AAA) within 2 months in Semester 1 2014. More opportunities are coming and do seize them. Be the future leaders HKSAers!
