The job interview workshop is successfully held on 19th April, 2014. Thank you for the Honourable Guest Speaker Erin Chew and Irene Ross for coming all the way from Sydney to share their expertise with the Newcastle students. I could see that we have a good mix of students from different cultures who are potential future leaders at the workshop and hope that you could got advice, guidance and network to achieve more in the near future. I would also like to congratulate the launch of Asian Australian Alliance Young Leaders - Newcastle and Northern Branch(AAAYL). This time we featured Hong Kong style drinks for hot summer. Iced milk tea, Iced lemon tea, Red bean Ice and Mud bean soup. Guess what? The iced milk tea is the best seller and the first to be run out, followed by the red bean ice. Missed it? HKSA UoN is going to do the Cultural Awakening Week Food Fair as usual in Semester 2 so stay tuned!
HKSA UoN 2nd time doing NUSA FREE BBQ. For those who might not know, NUSA is doing FREE BBQs every Tuesdays and Thursdays starting from 12noon at the courtyard outside NUSA near Commonwealth bank on campus (Hunter side).

A Chinese style booth with red wallpaper attracted many of the UoN students eyes and die-heart Hong Kong culture fans in Newcastle. Great to see UoN mates being so enthusiastic about Hing Kong culture! Hong Kong style milk tea and lced lemon tea were served at the stall for free.
HKSA UoN was invited to join the HKABA YPA first ever Social at the UTS Multipurpose sports hall, Sydney. With over 40 young players coming in to have fun, it was a great event, with sponsors: Hantec Markets, and Window to China. A great networking opportunity with Professionals.
